The River Walkway Revisited

The Marion Riverwalk from Washington down even into the park is in great disrepair.
What once was one of Marion's strong points is now decaying into ruin. Under the Washington St. Bridge, weeds just about cover the pathway. Near the old Girl Scout
building there is a stairway totally closed due to decay and disrepair. Behind the apartments near the Medical Complex area, handrails have fallen off.

In the past weeds were never allowed to grow so close and thick near the walkway.

The walkway needs help. Maintenance of what we have is just as important as new projects. The last couple of years weed ordinance signs were abundant in residents yards. Have not seen many this year, and perhaps because the city no longer does its part in keeping weeds at bay.

Obviously, money has not been released for this. But we see abundant money spent elsewhere. We hope the city will hear, and if nothing else organize a community project to bring the walkway back to former standards.

Possible Solution: A Community Repair and grooming day for the Walkway.

The Real Questions

The problem with our political leadership is not just that they don't have real answers. The problem is they don't even know the real questions.

When I speak up against many issues be it on the blog or in person, many stare at me like a cow stares at a new gate. They just don't get it.

Pseudo conservatism won't change a thing. It likes the way things are.

God give this city conservative government.

Ron Paul is a true conservative. Mitch Daniels, John McCain, the Marion City council/government, they are not.

I Heard Some One Say

Been so hot lately I heard someone say, that there is a new conservative political action group forming. It will be called, "the Ice Tea Party".

River Walk

I often walk on the Cardinal/Greenway trail. Yesterday I walked on the city walkway near Matter Park. I was sad to see the condition of the walkway. This was once a great pride point for Marion. Now, most of the Wood Decks, and stairways are closed and broken. It would take very little money to fix these, compared to the great wastes in other areas this city is involved in.

Some of the areas had weeds so tall you had to come to the center of the walkway to
pass without being struck by weeds. All in all, I'd give the city poor grades on keeping the walkway in order.

They will no doubt say budget restraints have caused this. I will of course say spend our money wisely. Quit giving raises to people who are not keeping our city in order.

Maintenance is as important as new...whatever!

How does a city that does not take care of its weeds have the audacity to cite and fine home owners for weed violations?

Mute Question

How many unemployed Marion citizens does it take to change a light bulb?

It is a mute question since none of them can afford a light bulb.

For the People

I stand against more money for the Court House Remodel. Not that it matters in an elite ruled society.

What happened to government for the People?

Government in the Tank

Mamby Pamby Attorney General.

I filed a complaint with the Attorney General of Indiana against Globalist oppressor, Chase Bank. (Chase=Rockefeller/NWO) The Attorney General did not believe that Chase was engaging in illegal activities by skipping billing dates, and then charging a 39 dollar fee on late payments the next month.

But where do those other three bills each year that do not come to my house go? I say in the tank with the evil agreement between the Globalist Banks, and our Government.

Chase knows how to extort money from its members. They know what they are doing. The Attorney General of Indiana is against us the citizen, when it comes to global rulers of money like Chase.

Fact:
-Lobbyist wine and dine our representatives in Government. Local, Federal, and State.
-We saw Congress's total abandonment of the American Citizen in the banker bailout.
-Mitch Daniels sold our Toll Road and called this betrayal a "Triumph!"
-Marion Government is moving to sell our water to the highest bidder.

We need new government in Washington. All TARP supporters need impeached. We need new government in this state. Mitch Daniels needs to go. Mammon rules these men. We need new government in Marion. Clean the slate. Local, State, and Federal.

Note: The Indiana Toll Road once called "the main street of the Midwest", is owned by, Spanish Cintra Concesiones de Infraestructuras de Transporte and Australian Macquarie Infrastructure Group.

I guess it is a side street between Spain and Australia now.
