Just When you Thought it was Safe to go Back Into the Water

I was watching Indy News and a weather advisory came on for Marion County and points south from here. To my chagrin the Marion Indiana weather sirens went off.

My wife has been pretty supportive of this idiotic local government but even she said: "What are they blowing those for?"

You see we were not under a severe weather advisory. There was none in effect for Grant Co. We were sixty miles from the bad weather according to the Radar. But we got a siren.. didn't we?

Selah

It is hard to imagine why these sirens were needed for severe weather taking place in Marion County.

Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water...Da da da da da da da ....

Sadly, a siren blowing for every cloud forming on the horizon will set us up for a "boy who cried wolf syndrome"-when real severe weather comes, as no one will heed the cry!

God we pray for Your guidance for they who are the leaders of this city.
