To criticise those in political power, is but a hope that one of them will listen, and enact change. But the change I hope for does not seem to loom on the horizon.
Yet, I hope for the black man I met yesterday who has hope to bring center city people together to enact change. I morn for the black man who is a pastor who once was a leader in bringing hope for reform to that area, but now is so tied to IWU, that if he weren't a black baptist-by his own lips, I'd say he was a white Wesleyan.
God send prophets into this city. Speak to the need of center city through courageous voices. We are sad when the system seduces one of your champions. Raise up new we pray!
