To Greive Again in the Land of Mammon

I went to a meeting at a large university by local officials. They gave honor with their words to the Lord. But who is Lord of the Religious? Indeed true religion and undefiled is to help the homeless, fatherless, and widows. While I look around at their perfect stage and opulence, I was sickened. There is nothing for the help of the poor in that people. It is Mammon that rules there. His Eunuchs could not or would not even speak to me. It would endanger their guarded delusion. The delusion of pride that they are better than others, for after all, they are the Marion IWU Wesleyans.

Yet that being said, I remember a day when I was more spiritually sensitive. In that day I would not have even been able to walk into their building. This is an indictment of my own heart.

Lord, let that which grieves you, no matter under what name, grieve me again.

Mar 7:6 He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with [their] lips, but their heart is far from me.
