Stop lights, stop signs, and Screwed Citizens

As I travel through the broken city, it occurs to me that there is no one in our local government that understands that the city has only 28 thousand people (optimistically speaking) and that many of them have been unemployed so long they do not travel about much in cars.

Each time I wait at a stop light that has stopped only me, and has no one else coming within eye sight I wonder if anyone ever thought to adjust the timing on these babies. This alone would make up the difference the police state Idle law was meant to address.

I also wonder why there is a stop sign in front of the Splash house all winter when that facility is not being used? Worse than useless it is.

I know these are very slight concerns, when we have a police state rising, and an option tax being shoved up the tailpipe of the poor taxpayer who is stranded along the way.

Now I know why they want us waiting so long. Its hard to screw a moving target. Sad thing is, this county council, city council, and mayor are so out of touch with reality that they actually believe they are public servants.
